FITCHBURG — A middle-aged man and his mother were found dead Monday at 228 Pratt Street. Neither death is considered suspicious, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Delores Gurden, 74, was found in her home. There were no signs of trauma or foul play. Her son, Stephen Gurden, 56, was found outside the home dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police went to the home to check on the well being of the Gurdens at about 5:30 p.m.
