WORCESTER — A city woman, whose truck rammed State Police Col. Marian McGovern’s vehicle at stop light last year, pleaded guilty today in Superior Court to a 5th offense operating under the influence of alcohol charge, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Judge James R. Lemire sentenced Donna M. Sclamo, 52, of 1 Burton St., to two years in jail and 10 years probation after accepting the guilty plea. She was given credit for 90 days she has already spent in jail. As result of her guilty plea her license to drive was permanately
revoked. Judge Lemire also fined Ms. Sclamo $100 for unlicensed operation.

On the morning of Oct. 11, Ms. Sclamo drove her Ford truck into the rear end of a stationary unmarked State Police SUV driven by Col. McGovern. The crash occurred at a traffic signal on Route 20 in Shrewsbury. No one was injured.

Ms. Sclamo had four previous convictions for operating under the influence in the 1990s.
