LEOMINSTER – A 22-year-old man died and his 18-year-old brother was charged with murder after a fight earlier today in their home, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Richard L. Morales Jr. of 157 Berrington Road was pronounced dead at UMass Health Alliance Hospital at 2:28 p.m. The victim had been stabbed in the chest. Andrew Morales of the same address was arrested and charged with murder. He will be arraigned tomorrow in Leominster District Court.
Leominster Police were called at about 1:45 p.m. to 157 Berrington Road for a reported fight between two men. When they arrived they found Richard Morales bleeding from his wound.
The State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and the Leominster Police are continuing to investigate.
