District Attorney’s Statement on Rutland Homicide

“With regard to the homicide discovered at Wachusett Street in Rutland, every active investigative lead is being pursued at this time by the State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s office and the Rutland Police,” said Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.  “There is always concern when a homicide has been committed and the suspect or suspects are at large. However in this case, at this time, the evidence does not point to this being a random act of violence. Still nothing has been ruled out and Rutland residents should take all reasonable precautions.”
