Boy Injured in St. John’s Pool Dies

WORCESTER — Aaditya Basrur , the 7-year-old Shrewsbury boy injured on Thursday in the outdoor swimming pool at St. John's High School, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy and the incident remains under investigation.
