FITCHBURG -- Police are looking for help in identifying the body of a male, believed to be between the ages 25 and 35, found yesterday morning on a dirt road off Airport Road, according to District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
The body was found on the road leading to a Fitchburg DPW sand pit around 8 a.m. Fitchburg Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s office responded after receiving a 911 call.
Mr. Early said the man was 5-foot-10 , 177 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He had a distinctive tattoo on his right calf of four Oriental symbols with flames coming from each. He also had a surgical scar on his abdomen as well scars on his upper right arm and his chest.
Fitchburg Police and State Police Detectives are investigating the death. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy.
